They'be been getting better for a while. I owned a 2012 Kia, it was lovely.

Looks like they started with a 2006-2009 Lexus LS, they updated the same styling cues for a more modern look.
I can't say it's ugly.

So..
That's mean I'm driving korean cars before it was cool!
I still keep my first car, Timor S515i, or a Kia Sephia.

There's a reason why Korean cars used to be uncool: they were utterly, irredeemably awful pieces of shit on wheels. It's only in the last 10 or so years that they've started producing anything on four wheels with more quality than a Chinese knock-off.

Bland is the word you're looking for.

Well, mine is great.
Engine comes from Mazda Demio, tuned to 120hp, and the MSRP was 2000 bucks. For a new car. With AC, Radio, Manuel Transmisson, and Manually Ajusted Door Mirror.
It's a great car.

I'd say it looks like an E-class.

That's gorgeous.
I saw a blue Genny coupe at the gas station the other day, they are rather attractive cars.

I wouldn't go that far.
Unoffensive is perhaps more apt.

I love the Genesis Coupe! I'm a total fanboy for it too partly since it gets ragged on so much for being Korean. I'm terribly biased though since my dad currently works at Hyundai and has loaned a white 2.0T for me a quite a few times (last time he drove it for a full month). Sure, it's got its share of weaknesses but since I'm going to buy one used to modify (possibly doing a 5.0l Tau V8 swap) that doesn't concern me one bit!

I like them a lot. I drove the old 2.0T and enjoyed it, I'd really like a spin in the newer one.

I've driven a '12 3.8 slushbox and a '13 2.0T stick-shift and both were great! I drove the 3.8 while I was still practice-driving though and didn't really push it so my experience with it was pretty limited. I got to push the 2.0T quite a bit though and I really like it although weirdly enough it feels slightly lacking in the power department when you rev out 2nd and 3rd gear on an on-ramp. I guess could be the weight which I'm unused to but either way it's definitely a car you want to tune more potential out of (which you definitely can - the 2.0T engine is a longitudinal version of the Evo X's engine and the 3.8 is a potential power monster).

The best economy car may be the Hyundai Veloster- its a ton of car for the money IMHO.
